What do you do when you are in the dump?

I believe when you are truely passionate about something and that can be absolutely anything, then there is a fire burning that is deep within you. My passion lies within designing jewelry and creating it and crafting it to be with my hands. When I am depressed about something in my life, then you will find me in my little shop, making jewelry. Often I just take a selection of beads out, lay them before me and look at them. Then after a while I play with them, move them around, start stringing and thats how some of my real exquisite pieces come to be. It's seem strange to a lot of people when I tell them that I am most creative when I am in the dump.

My dad always told me that no matter what happens in life true passion can never be deminished or suppressed through any circumstance in life. Passion is what you love doing most, wheather it is creating something with your hands like painting, sewing,
working with clay or beeing creative with your mind, writing of poems, music.....etc.

I would like to know how you feel about this......do you agree with me or do you disagre ? Go here and see what I created in one of my worst moments of depression and lonleyness http://www.beadedjewels.biz/swarovski_crystal_jewelry.html Expecially look at the item no # N-297 and B-331-2 ( click on pix to enlargen the view )

I agree. I think when you are in a dump your mind begins to wander and think about things....what a breeding ground for creativity.

Yes----when I was in a dump after Mom passed on is when I started making the purses & bath & body items.....great treatments for the dumps.

I agree, when you are in the dumps, this is when you can hear what God wants you to do, we are then free to let the thoughts flow, you don't think about what you are doing it just flows out of you, and this is a great spirit lifter.... at least for me...I am glad you liked your award....HUGS Marla
