Hello dear Fans of Beaded Jewels!
Some of you have been Beaded Jewels Customers for almost 4 four years. I just wanted to thank you for being faithful customers as well as friends. If you have come to my site lately at http://www.beadedjewels.biz you may even find yourself wondering if you are indeed at the right site. Everything is changing even the LOGO. Yes, I find that I have outgrown the boring purple banner and are ready to showcase some of my best work on my new banner which I designed myself.

The reason why I decided to redesign my website completely - meaning all 230 pages + is because I had my website evaluated and the conclusion of this evaluation was that I needed to redesign it and make it more appealing not boring. Furthermore you will find once the website its completely done that it'sway easier to navigate and you will not get lost anymore and that is due to the vertical navigation bar that contains all the links to the product page divisions.

Also there is now an end in site on any page which means each page is now a lot shorter and therefore are many more pages to look at. The pages are not cluttered with Logos and banners anymore which some of you probably found pretty distracting. The images are limited on each page which means even on dial up the pages will load a lot faster.

I am totally exited about this change and I hope you will to. Please be patient it will take the whole next week to complete the process of changing every page and adding more.

What is the purpose of your life?

So often read we about offers of how to make bundles of money quick online. I disagree, life is not just about making money and having enough of it....because one will never have enough. Life is about purpose! In 2006 I decided I want to be a Wahm- Work at home mom. so I did this, I created my own biz ( Beaded Jewels) in 2008 from a $200.00 giftcard. I worked hard and endless hours ( and still do), back then for next to no money, but I enjoyed it, every minute of it.

As a certified Goldsmith and jewelry designer I have experince in making jewelry . However this was not it, it did not feel purpose full, because I was doing it for myself.

In 2009 I created a special Bracelet line Beaded Jewels Bracelets of Hope. This happend through a friend whom I had met in a chat-room, whom herself was a cancer survivor.

It was years after my own dad had been diagnosed with stage four colorectal cancer. It was then that I found my purpose, and I make good money now. I feel right now that my life has a purpose.

Since the beginning of my mission which became international in 2010 with customers in Auckland New Zealand and Trinidad and Tobago I have ministered to at least 75 people which I met online in either chat rooms or social networks like Facebook and have sold over 125 bracelet each one still handmade by me. What greater purpose is there but to be able to make a difference in someones life. Most people do not know that I pray for the person that I am making a bracelet for and that is ok. It's because of this that my life has a purpose and I love even more what I do.

Beaded Jewels: - Bracelets of Hope is doing a fundraiser/auction to help a family in dire financial need with an almost 2 year old girl Isabella who was just recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia which is Cancer of the Blood. Isabella who is a little trooper has received a total of 3 blood transfusions and 2 bags of platelets, and had to go to surgery to have a bone marrow aspiration, a spinal tap, chemo put directly into her spinal fluid, and have a medi-port implanted in her chest only to find out after the surgery that the that the leukemia spread into her kidney’s causing them to become enlarged and therefore unable to control her blood pressure. As so many families this family has no insurance and her bill is already over $26,000 (Not including the bill from the first hospital they were at or the transportation to All Children’s). She still has to be in the hospital for at least another week, and about 4 years of chemo and treatment if everything goes well. She’ll have to travel to All Children’s outpatient clinic 3-4 times a week for chemo treatments and monitoring. Diabetes is one of the cruel diseases that go on behind closed doors, a disease nobody can see, but nevertheless very real as you have just got a peek into my friend’s life Dawn who I interviewd for this purpose of shedding light on this silent disease Diabetes.. Beaded Jewels Bracelets of Hope Mission
I, Lexi Butler certified goldsmith, jewelry designer also beading artist and owner/ creator of the online boutique Beaded Jewels have experienced the devastation of cancer, directly through my dad who was diagnosed in 2003 with stage four colorectal cancer. When I heard the devastating news from my mother over the phone, I took an emergency flight to Germany to see my father one more time or so I thought.
Nothing could prepare me of what I was about to see, once I reached my family’s home. The handsome man in statue had shriveled into this pale, bald, skinny, almost not recognizable human being a picture that would stay with me for years to come. Today, my father is a seven year survivor and we thank God for each day he gets to live.
During my life in Germany, I knew my dad not only as the father figure, but as the boss of his jewelry company. As I grew, I also learned the trade of goldsmith and design, in which I decided to become certified in both. For many years, I have wanted to help and make a difference, but did not quite know how to go about it.
As many people today, I was uninformed about the many types of cancer alone that affect thousands of people every day. Until one day when I met this young women who was a Cervical Cancer Survivor. We met online in a chat room where I was presenting Beaded Jewels at the time. After talking with her and also through prayerful confirmation it was clear to me what I needed to do. I wanted to make a difference and help inform people and spread cancer awareness nationwide through a unique way, by designing and handcrafting a special bracelet line which I named “Beaded Jewels Bracelets of Hope” which design by the way came from no other then God. Knowing myself how devastating cancer is, I wanted to “Bring A Little Sparkle into someone’s Life” which is the Motto behind Beaded Jewels Bracelets of Hope.
Having met a lot of people, not only devastated by cancer, but also all kind of other diseases, I decided to expand the bracelet line to all cancer, diseases and causes.
The Mission behind Beaded Jewels Bracelets of Hope is: “Raise Awareness and Spread Knowledge of Cancer, Diseases and Causes through Colours International.”
Since the Mission first began in October 2009 we have now reached 95 individuals who have expressed a need for one or more Beaded Jewels Bracelets of Hope. In just a little over a year we have sold 115 plus bracelets which were either ordered in basic style or made to custom with their name, and other personalizing options or for Team Spirit Awareness. We have since broken through the national border with having send bracelets as far as Trinidad and Tobago as well as Auckland New Zealand.
The Beaded Jewels Bracelets of Hope Mission started with one bracelet are still to this day each Beaded Jewels Bracelet of Hope is individually made by me by hand and only made by me. Every order I get is still received with mixed emotion, especially if a child has passed away, and the bracelet is made for a mother who is wearing it in the memory of the child. Therefore each bracelet is made with Love and great care also prayed over for the person that receives it.

I can fit into a 7 inch bracelet up to eight sterling silver Block letters.
The Beaded Jewels Bracelets of Hope are made sturdy enough to withstand severe epileptic seizures. They can be worn in water and can also be cleaned with a soft toothbrush and simple Dawn without bleach. The sterling silver extension chain and lobster clasp can be cleaned in silver jewelry cleaner if it should tarnish.

Isaiah 65:24 - Before they ask I will answer

        This is a story written by a doctor who worked in Africa.

        One night I had worked hard to help a mother in the labor ward; but
in spite of all we could do, she died, leaving us with a tiny, premature
baby and a crying two-year-old daughter. We would have difficulty keeping
the baby alive; as we had no incubator (we had no electricity to run an
incubator).

        We also had no special feeding facilities.

        Although we lived on the equator, nights were often chilly with
treacherous drafts. One student midwife went for the box we had for such
babies and the cotton wool that the baby would be wrapped in.

        Another went to stoke up the fire and fill a hot water bottle. She
came back shortly in distress to tell me that in filling the bottle, it had
burst (rubber perishes easily in tropical climates)..

        'And it is our last hot water bottle!' she exclaimed. As in the
West, it is no good crying over spilled milk, so in Central Africa
        it might be considered no good crying over burst water bottles.

        They do not grow on trees, and there are no drugstores down forest
pathways.

        'All right,' I said, 'put the baby as near the fire as you safely
can, and sleep between the baby and the door to keep it free from drafts
Your job is to keep the baby warm.'

        The following noon, as I did most days, I went to have prayers with
any of the orphanage children who chose to gather with me. I gave the
youngsters various suggestions of things to pray about and told them about
the tiny baby. I explained our problem about keeping the baby warm
enough,mentioning the hot water bottle, and that the baby could so easily
die if it got chills. I also told them of the two-year-old sister, crying
because her mother had died.

        During prayer time, one ten -year-old girl, Ruth, prayed with the
usual blunt conciseness of our African children. 'Please, God' she prayed,
'Send us a hot water bottle today It'll be no good tomorrow, God, as the
baby will be dead, so please send it this afternoon.'

        While I gasped inwardly at the audacity of the prayer, she added,
'And while You are about it, would You please send a dolly for the little
girl so she'll know You really love her?'

        As often with children's prayers, I was put on the spot. Could I
honestly say 'Amen?' I just did not believe that God could do this.

        Oh, yes, I know that He can do everything; the Bible says so. But
there are limits, aren't there? The only way God could answer this
particular prayer would be by sending me a parcel from the homeland. I had
been in   Africa for almost four years at that time, and I had never, ever,
received a parcel from home.

        Anyway, if anyone did send me a parcel, who would put in a hot water
bottle? I lived on the equator!

        Halfway through the afternoon, while I was teaching in the nurses'
training school, a message was sent that there was a car at my front door.
By the time I reached home, the car had gone, but there on the verandah was
a large 22-pound parcel. I felt tears pricking my eyes. I could not open the
parcel alone, so I sent for the orphanage children... Together we pulled off
the string, carefully undoing each knot. We folded the paper, taking care
not to tear it unduly Excitement was mounting. Some thirty or forty pairs of
eyes were focused on the large cardboard box. >From the top, I lifted out
brightly-colored, knitted jerseys. Eyes sparkled as I gave them out. Then
there were the knitted bandages for the leprosy patients, and the children
looked a little bored.. Then came a box of mixed raisins and sultanas - that
would make a batch of buns for the weekend.

        Then, as I put my hand in again, I felt the.....could it really be?

        I grasped it and pulled it out. Yes, a brand new, rubber hot water
bottle. I cried.

        I had not asked God to send it; I had not truly believed that He
could.

        Ruth was in the front row of the children. She rushed forward,
crying out, 'If God has sent the bottle, He must have sent the dolly, too!'

        Rummaging down to the bottom of the box, she pulled out the small,
beautifully-dressed dolly. Her eyes shone! She had never doubted!

        Looking up at me, she asked, 'Can I go over with you and give this
dolly to that little girl, so she'll know that Jesus really loves her?'

        'Of course,' I replied!

        That parcel had been on the way for five whole months, packed up by
my former Sunday school class, whose leader had heard and obeyed God's
prompting to send a hot water bottle, even to the equator..

        And one of the girls had put in a dolly for an African child - five
months before, in answer to the believing prayer of a ten-year-old to bring
it 'that afternoon.'

        'Before they call, I will answer.' (Isaiah 65:24)

        When you receive this, say the prayer. That's all I ask. No strings
attached. Just send it on to whomever you want - but do send it on.

        Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. There is no cost,
but a lot of rewards. Let's continue praying for one another.

        This awesome prayer takes less than a minute.

        Heavenly Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this. I ask
You to minister to their spirit. Where there is pain, give them Your peace
and mercy. Where there is self doubting, release a renewed confidence to
work through them Where there is tiredness or exhaustion, I ask You to give
them understanding, guidance, and strength. Where there is fear, reveal Your
love and release to them Your courage.. Bless their finances, give them
greater vision, and raise up leaders and friends to support and encourage
them. I ask You to do these things in Jesus' name. Amen

        P. S. Passing this on to anyone you consider a friend will bless you
both. Passing this on to one not considered a friend is something Christ
would do.

Exquisite Flower Jewels by Beaded Jewels

Spring is in the air....everywhere just not in Montana. As long as it snows over here I do not consider it Spring. So while it is raining storming or snowing outside, I am sitting in my little atelier....thinking of spring and in particular flowers. Flowers are the greatest part of spring for me. One of my favorite flowers which bloom later are Daisies.

This year I am incorporating my love for daisies in my jewels. At Beaded Jewels you will find daisies in all colours. Orange , blue, aquamarine are just a few colours that are shown here.

Last year I started with glow -in-the-dark chokers for teens and children. Some of them are still available at http://www.beadedjewels.biz/teen_jewelry_2.html

This year I am taking it to a whole new level. The first Daisy Jewel I created was a Bracelet. The bracelet is woven together intricately out of individual flowers with free moving flower petals, just like the real flowers. It is fully movable and flexible and voluminous. The bracelet closes with an easy sterling silver hook closure and measures 7 1/2 inches. This gorgeous one-of-a kind bracelet is best worn on a wrist no lager then 6 1/2 inches so that the flowers will not look stretched. The bracelet as you can see has layers and does not appear flat. It is a live it seems like that anyway. When I design a piece of jewelry I keep in mind one very important yet often overlooked thing. Nothing I design is ever stiff, because then one can not play with it. That is the most important aspect for me as a designer- flexibility.
Then came the bead-woven Daisy Jewel Ring which can be worn not only as a finger ring but is comfortable to be worn on your toes. Designing and making the Daisy Jewel Ring it was especially important to me that the petals show no gaps in between the petals. There are no gaps in nature, except when you pull out a petal.

So as you see I came up with a way to weave these petals close together, that one can not see where the petals actually go through the middle bead. I don't want you to see how I got there. I just want you to be amazed and keep you guessing. The band of the ring is also woven with tiny delica tube beads. These are just the first two jewels from the Daisy Jewels, which will be offered in more colours soon. More Flower Variations-Not every petal of a flower is the same colour

The other day I went into a "man store" (Fishing store) to get glow-in-the-dark beads. Originally I wanted to create fireflies. Someone had ask me if I could design fire flies with glass glow-in-the-dark-beads. When I came home I went into my shop to open the bag with the beads and.....there were plastic!!!!!! What now? The bag was ripped open and I did not wanted to go back all two miles to that "man" store. On that day I had dagger beads in several colours laying around on my beading mat. I had bought them years back because I liked them.

So I started playing with them I took a 6mm glow-in-the-dark bead and put it in front of me. The I took the rose dagger beads and put them around the glow-in-the-dark-bead which now looked like a daisy.

And one thing led to another....I took some string and made the flower....

not without some thinking I must say, because I did not wanted any gaps in the pedals. So here is what I came up with.....

Anyway I am probably not the only person, that can not have anything between there toes, because it either tickles or rubs. You know how that can drive you crazy, especially if the toe-ring is silver plated or contains nickel.
I have a nickel allergy so you will not find any jewelry containing even the hint of nickel. There is something else you won't find at Beaded Jewels- metal toe rings. Nope, they are bead-woven.......why well because that is the only way to trick my toes into believing, that they are not wearing any toe-rings when they are.

How did I do this? Well, one day I was playing around with tiny delica tube-beads, which are one of the finest beads to work with (in my book anyway) and I had woven a band, stared playing with it, put it around my fingers, my wrist and then my toes. Guess what......my toes did not subject. They could not feel a thing. The toe-rings are completely flat........and looked boring too.

Right now they were just a band around the toe. I am the sparkly kind of girl. The thing is when swarovski cristals sit to tight on your skin they can irritate and even cut you, because of the exact cutting patterns. By the way there is no one like it. That's how you can tell you have a real original Austrian Swarovski Crystal by the exact cut and brilliance in colours.

So what I did I en caged three swarovski Crystal in delica tube beads and then I weaved it into the band. The Beaded Jewels Toe-Ring was born.

After having made and sold several I am now to the point where I can whip them out within 15min from start to finish. You can find the toe rings here

Something else that I thought would be a very important factor is "SUMMER" which means sunscreen. When else would you want to show of your toes.......right in spring and summer. So to be able to keep your toe rings nice they obviously need to be washable with a soft toothbrush and plain (no bleach) Dawn to bring back the shine when the toe-rings should dare be goo ed up with sunscreen.

That's not all.......should they not also be swim fest?

I though they should be......so yes its OK to take them swimming, not in chlorinated water of course, but when one goes to a lake or take a shower.

First and foremost.......what is a custom design? In my eyes is is something designed just for you ...for no one else just you. When I custom design a piece for someone, I want to know about this person first. What is their story, Where in life are they at, how can I help make their dream a reality.

You might think how could this be done if you never actually see this person in front of you? Well to tell you the truth and this might sound a bit strange, but I either wake up early in the morning with the finished design in my head and then I get up and just start putting it together, or I get the design when I talk to the person, either in a chat room or the phone. Sometime I get several ideas, which I then present to my customers.

I always incorporate something about the person who places an order for the custom design. This particular choker and bracelet set on the left has incorporated many symbolic meanings and also Awareness colours, which the woman who ordered the pieces can identify herself with. Some of the colours mean milestones for her that she has over come. Some of the colours are things she faces everyday.

Either way the person who bought this gorgeous set is going to wear it a lot, because she absolutely loves it and feels this is a piece of her.

I have done several custom designs since the beading bug bit me.

The Bracelet with the Shark was a custom Design for a women from San Jose who is a die hard SJ Shark Fan. All she had for me was a picture from their Mascot or symbol.

I tried many ways to get my beautiful jewelry designs noticed. One way was chat rooms. Chat rooms are the right way if you have a product that is known to all like Avon for instance. Almost everyone has heard of them or Mary K . Have you heard of Beaded Jewels? Hmm………thought so.

So I tried chat rooms did not work too well for me, I had some biz there, but that was because I had known the people for a while and they trusted me enough to take that huge step and buy from me.

One day I was visiting my website http://www.beadedjewels.biz/ and got really frustrared because it loaded soooooooo slow. I knew if I feel this way how many other visitors feel that way too. So I made the descision to give Beaded Jewels which is the name of my website a face lift.

Before I tell you what I did to make the pages of my we site load faster, I first want to put outthere, that I have absolutely no schooling in website building, none whatso ever. I am a certified goldsmith and jewelry designer and also self proclaimed Beading Artist. That's it, I am not a website builder. What I know I tought myself and I also go by a lot by common sense. If it does not make sense...well you know, than it probably won't work.

Well when I am talking about a Face lift of Beaded Jewels I mean of course revamping of our website http://www.beadedjewels.biz/

You can actually call it a Face lift, because that's what I really did. In my web builder WYSIWYG 7.2 which means "What You See Is What You Get" I have the option to clone a page which is a great thing, When you clone a page you can take everything of your original page which you want to rebuild, After you done rebuilding the page you can delete the clone. But before you publish the original you can clone that page and make it your templet page. When you erase everything from your page, you always have the clone to fall back on too. You can select everything that in the clone page and move it back to the original page. I smoothed out a lot of things like that , which now allows the pages to load a lot faster then before. I got rid of a lot of impurities like broken links. I eliminated a lot of stuff that were cluttering up the pages like for instance images, that really did not belong on the pages.

Having said that I took of everything that either distracted the visitor and potential customer, or kept the page from loading faster.

One thing that took incredibly long to load was the page size itself. So I searched what the common website width should look like. I found it should be 600-800. Mine was 940 and so was the big purple Beaded Jewels Banner. So the first thing I did was I re sized my Beaded Jewels Banner down to 800.

By the way if your pages loads slower then 2 seconds it is considered slow.

Yeah I know I think thats insane as well, but see the people today are always in a hurry, instant gratification is the word of this generation. So there fore everything has to be there in an instant.

You have exactly 30 seconds to crasp a website visitors attention.

Instead of the purple boxes which were really dominating the pages and were kind of irritating I designed a pattern in purple but gradient into lavender and white. It looks like half round tubes in 3D. It is therefore interesting but not distracting from what I really want you to see, which is my beautiful beaded woven and wiere-wrapped jewelry designs. As a backgroun I used white and the text colour which was black and white is now black on white, sharp crisp and easy to see and read.

You see there is a big difference in before and after and even so it was a lot of work, the dayly visitors increased 40% and so did the page views.

Is this what your diary looks like? This actually happened although it isn’t mine.
This is what my diary might have looked like a few years ago.

Not another night and day of this!
Entry #1 Kids are both home from school again. That sure adds to the snow days.
Entry #2 Another morning with my number #1 son waking up with fever, aches and chills. He has the flu.
Entry #3 Not to be outdone, today son #2 has the flu.
Entry #4 I am feeling exhausted and am relishing in the 3 hours of uninterrupted time to myself while the boys finally sleep.
Entry #5 Today, I walked out to get the mail in the 30 degree temperature. It is one way to tell if you have the flu, when you get winded and sweat profusely.
Entry #6 There is nothing quite like waking up to the sound (and smell) of a child’s forceful vomiting. First the flu and now the ‘stomach bug’.
Entry #7 Another day home from school, son still not able to keep food on stomach.
Entry #8 My turn again. I was up all night with the stomach bug. When you have kids in school or day care, they always bring home something. All of this in the last 6 weeks. I will be so glad when we are all well again. Hubby has used up his sick days. Having the kids sleep in another room didn’t keep it from spreading to the rest of the family.

I don’t know how many trips I have made to the doctors. I am just happy that we didn’t have any ear aches, bronchitis or pneumonia. Medicines and doctor bills are adding to our list of expenses.

I raised five children and have walked through their colds, measles, chicken pox, flu etc. I worried about them getting into dangerous things, because we lived on the farm. They rode horses, played and jumped in the hay mow, road on the tractor with their Dad, had pet animals like a lamb and ran from attacking geese that chased them. We had a garden with fresh vegetables and home grown meat. Food is not as healthful as it used to be and we don’t live on the farm anymore. Food travels a long ways and has too many things done to it before we even see it. Did you ever wonder where all the nutrition went? Ten percent is lost at every step of the way, from transportation, to preparation.

Right out of high school I obtained a job for a Radiologist. I was her secretary, receptionist and trained to be a technician. I was an X-Ray technician both in civilian and military life. I was also a nurse’s aide at three geriatric homes. I loved kids and worked with them in a Christian club called AWANA, as a Commander and Blue Birds. We enjoyed many Halloween parties and hay rides at our farm. I seemed to always be finding some girl to foster and bring into my home. When, I joined the Air Force, I was stationed at a SAC base which meant that I had to have a clean record.

Later I became a volunteer for the American Red Cross, where I trained to work in Disasters. I worked in the Records and Reports department and was sent out on 2 -3 week sessions to other states. Here again my reputation, honesty, integrity and protecting private information was needed. Each of these areas of my life encompassed working with people, especially in the health arena. I have taken Sign Language courses at the community college and worked with deaf children.

I was involved in another networking business years ago where I marketed another nutritional supplement. I was able to sit under the tutelage of many respected and knowledgeable people to learn so much about nutrition.

My husband has had many surgeries, open heart surgery for valve replacement, 2 back surgeries, a total knee replacement, and hand surgery. He used to be a carpenter (after being a farmer) and he could no longer do that kind of work and became a greeter at Sam’s Club for awhile. While I loved volunteering with American Red Cross, it became too much work wearing so many hats, to take care of my husband and volunteer and care for the home front at the same time. At this time I tried temporary jobs, since I didn’t have a resume. I realized that I needed to supplement our social security. It should come as no surprise that social security is not sufficient. When I found my new business in the health industry, I was excited to find that it was right up my alley. I am very concerned about people’s health and lifestyle that affects their health. This gave me the opportunity to work with people, teaching them about better health and nutrition. I come in contact daily with information that there is always yet another type of illness out there, that I have never heard of in the past.

Does this diary sound like you or someone in your family? It is so much easier to prevent an illness than to try to combat it. My husband and I have not had one cold or flu in the last 5 ½ years that we have used a powerful super fruit juice called Mangosteen. It doesn’t sound like it could be that powerful, because after all it is just a fruit juice. But, the one major difference is what makes all the difference and that is the Xanthones. You may have heard of them elsewhere, but you will never have heard of them being used without having been separated or used as a derivative. The entire portion of the 42 Xanthones of the 200 known were found in this little fruit. The entire fruit is made into a pulp and then as a juice to help us with our immunity and health. Small amounts of other juices are added to make it taste as great as it does. The pericarp would be bitter otherwise. This little Mangosteen fruit has been known to be used internally and externally as far back as the sixteenth century as documented.

Wouldn’t it be really great, to know that you can plan on your day or week for work, activities and all without coming down with another illness? It is so easy to take the bottle from the refrigerator and pour just one ounce of juice for each family member. We have been doing this for 5 ½ years and have not had any cold or flu. We do need to form habits. But, you can make it a habit to get it out when you reach for the OJ or milk in the morning. The kids will love the taste and will remind you.

Is your family on the go and not able to take it at lunch time? No problem. We have wonderful one ounce packets to slip into the lunch box or back pack. They taste delicious and they won’t forget to take them. Only 3 ounces a day is a great preventative. Bump up the dosage if you have inflammation or illness somewhere in your body.

Have you seen the ad on TV where this lady is telling this man named Mucous that it is all his fault that she can’t breathe? He says, “It isn’t my fault. It isn’t mucous causing your problem. It is inflammation.” Exactly! This is why I no longer have headaches when I have allergies, because I use the Mangosteen juice and it helps me combat the inflammation.

Okay, I hear you saying, “but I take Advil, Tylenol, or cold meds.” These are helpful, but once again they are not natural products. Dr. Rosenfeld said on TV the other morning that every med had some poison in them. Sometimes we need them. But, whenever possible it is much better to use something natural and before we get sick.

Isn’t your and your family’s health worth it to you? Wouldn’t it be great to know that you could plan the whole week or the whole month of things that you ought to do or want to do without worrying about being sick all the time? Wouldn’t it be great not to have to shuck out more money to doctors, hospitals and the pharmacy? Wouldn’t it be great just to feel great all the time? Don’t lose out on anymore sleep, days of work or school or feeling miserable.

If this doesn’t concern you, this should. All major illnesses start in our body way before we are aware of them. As I mentioned above, it is much easier to stay healthy than it is to try to combat an illness. Prevention is the key. I hear way too many people stating that they are as healthy as a horse and ‘I don’t get sick’ and ‘I am just fine’. Prepare ahead of time. It is much easier and less expensive, too. My husband uses this juice to combat his COPD. It has not gotten any worse and he has not had any setbacks because of it. COPD can only be controlled and that is what he is doing. I use it for my allergies, so that I don’t have any headaches anymore. It gets rid of the inflammation associated with them. I have even seen my cholesterol readings come down 15%.

We hope that we never have a fire in our home, but we have a smoke detector and fire extinguisher just in case. Be sure you have your insurance for your health ahead of time by doing something before the fact. Fight the Fatal Five, heart disease, cancer, stroke, lung disease and diabetes.

The free flowing sparkly beaded cluster pendant was created out of 33 individual pendants out of purple, violet and crystal coloured 6 mm swarovski crystals.

Attached to the hancrafted sterling silver piece on ea side is a woven band out of 232 purple, violet and crystal ABx2 swarovski crystals each 4mm. The beautiful pnecklace closes with a 1/2 in sterling silver lobster clasp and a 2 inch violet 6mm swarovski charm extension.

Ingredients to AVOID in personal care products

What you put on your skin can go into your body to affect your health and sense of well-being - either negatively or positively. You can choose which . . . if you know the facts (which the "cosmetic conspiracy" wants to hide from you).

As our body's biggest organ, your Skin is your most important immune defense barrier as well as your largest organ for eliminating waste. Commercial products with harmful petroleum ingredients can plasticize and "constipate" your skin, making germs more likely to get in and toxins less likely to get out of your body. The result: Neither you nor your skin are as radiant and healthy as you could be! Every day we use products that we think are safe; but the truth is that products are NOT always safe – and manufacturers don't have to tell us so. Ever since 1938 - when the PDA granted self-regulation to the cosmetics industry - such products can be marketed without government approval of ingredients, regardless of what tests show.

Most of the 25,000 chemicals used have not been tested for long-term toxic effects. In a typical day, you might be exposed to over 200 different chemicals, many of which are suspected of causing cancer or juggling hormones. EPA tests conclude that ingredients in shampoos, dyes, and other personal care products "maybe playing havoc with hormones that control reproduction and development.

START CHECKING ALL PRODUCT LABELS:
AVOID THESE HARMFUL, HAZARDOUS 'TOUCH-ME-NOT" INGREDIENTS!

Propylene Glycol (PG) and Butylene Glycol: Found in Anti-freeze. Acts as a "surfactant11 (wetting agent and solvent). Penetrates skin and weakens protein and cellular structure. Strong enough to remove barnacles from boats! The EPA considers PG so toxic that workers are required to wear protective clothing and to dispose of PG by burying it in the ground. PG penetrates the skin so quickly, the EPA warns against contact to prevent brain, liver, and kidney abnormalities. But there isn't even a warning label on products such as stick deodorants, where the concentration is greater than in most industrial applications.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) & Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES). Detergents that pose serious health threats. Used in garage floor cleaners and engine degreasers - and in 90% of personal-care products that foam. Animals exposed to SLS experience eye damage, depression, labored breathing, diarrhea, severe skin irritation, and even death. Young eyes may not develop properly if exposed to SLS. May damage the skin's immune system. Can be transformed into nitrosamines, a potent class of carcinogens. Your body may retain the SLS for up to five days and maintain residual levels in the heart, liver, lungs, and brain.

DEA (diethanolamine). MEA (Monoethanolaniine) & TEA (triethanolamine): Hormone-disrupting chemicals that can form cancer-causing nitrates. Restricted in Europe due to carcinogenic effects, yet they are still used in the U.S. Americans may be exposed 10-20 times per day with shampoos, shaving creams and bubble baths. Dr. Samuel Epstein Professor of Environmental Health at the University of Illinois) says that repeated applications of DEA-based detergents result in major increase in liver and kidney cancer. The PDA's John Bailey says, "the risk is significantly increased for children."

Sodium Hydroxide: The most recent addition to our personal care products. This is a poison (caustic lye) found in drain cleaners, yet is now found in our children and adult toothpaste!

Triclosan: Synthetic "antibacterial" with a chemical structure similar to Agent Orange! The EPA registers it as a pesticide, giving it high scores as a risk to human health and the environment. It is in a class of chemicals suspected of causing cancer in humans. It may produce dioxin, a hormone-disrupting chemical with toxic effects measured in the parts per trillion; that is only one drop in 300 Olympic-size swimming pools! Hormone disrupters pose enormous longterm chronic health risks. It can change genetic material, decrease fertility and sexual function, and foster birth defects. Internally, it can lead to cold sweats, circulatory collapse, and convulsions. Stored in body fat, it can accumulate to toxic levels, damaging the lxiver, kidneys and lungs, and can cause paralysis, brain hemorrhages and heart problems. Tufts University School of Medicine says Triclosan can force the emergence of "super bugs" that it cannot kill. Its widespread use in antibacterial cleansers, toothpastes and household products may have nightmarish implications on future generations.

DMDM & Urea (Imidazolidinyl): Two of many preservatives that often release formaldehyde which cause joint pain, skin reactions, allergies, depression, headaches, chest pains, ear infections, chronic fatigue, dizziness, and loss of sleep. Exposure also irritates the respiratory system; triggers heart palpitations or asthma, and aggravates coughs and colds. Other side effects include weakening the immune system and cancer.

Polyethylene Glycol (PEG): Carcinogenic petroleum ingredient that reduces the skin's natural moisture. Increases the appearance of aging and leaves you vulnerable to bacteria. Used in spray-on oven cleaners and cleansers to dissolve oil and grease.

Liutane or Propane: Found in aerosol products. May be narcotic and cause asphyxiation,

Alcohol, Isopropyl (SD-40): Drying, irritating solvent that strips skin's moisture and immune barrier, making you vulnerable to bacteria and viruses. Made from a petroleum derivative found in shellac and antifreeze as well as personal care products. Promotes brown spots and premature aging. A Consumer's Dictionary of Cosmetic Ingredients says it may cause headaches, flushing, dizziness, mental depression, nausea, vomiting, and coma. Fatal ingested dose is one ounce or less.

Mineral Oil: Petroleum by-product that coats the skin like plastic wrap, clogging the pores. Interferes with skin's ability to eliminate toxins, promoting acne and other disorders. Slows down skin function and cell development, resulting in premature aging. Baby oil is 100% mineral oil!

FD&C Color Pigments: Synthetic colors from coal tar that deposits toxins onto the skin, causing skin irritation. Absorption of certain colors can cause depletion of oxygen in the body and death. Animal studies have shown almost all of them to be carcinogenic.

Fragrances: Can contain up to four thousand ingredients (including animal urine), many toxic or carcinogenic.

Causes headaches, dizziness, allergic rashes, skin discoloration, violent coughing, vomiting, and skin irritation.

Fragrances affect the nervous system, causing depression, hyper activity, irritability, inability to cope, and other behavioral changes.

I will miss him greatly with his sense of humor and big smile, but I am so happy to know that he is no longer in pain and with the Lord. He accepted the Lord as his personal Savior as a young boy.

It is because of him and many, many people that are suffering from cancer and all sorts of diseases that drives me to want to inform others of the possibility of what the Mangosteen juice can do for them. Did it help my son? Yes, it did, but for some unknown reason he chose not to continue on with Mangosteen after he had a completely clear body scan. We never found out why he did not. We will never know. We think he may have thought he had it licked completely, but you need to keep up your immune system with cancer. This saddens me the most. But, I know he is not the only one that has been helped with the Mangosteen juice. There are others that have been brought back from Stage 4 cancers. That is why my desire is to help others before it is too late. To be able to help just one more person will make my loss that much more bearable.

Designs by Fire creations are combined out of silver smithing techniques and beading works which adds the final touch to these unique creations

These gorgeous sterling silver earrings are completely handcrafted through several silversmithing techniques, like bending, forming, hammering, annealing, soldering and more to create these two-sized drops which are free swinging and encaging a three coloured swarovski crystal cluster out of each 11 crystals ea 6mm which are combined with the drops. This unique design is eye-catching and will attract attention. The length of these earrings are 4 1/4 inches .

This unique bangle is handcrafted with tightly twisted copper coil tubes and six sterling silver flower petals which are each holding a 12mm pearl coated emerald green glass bead. The 6mm lavernder swarovski crystals is complimenting the unity of copper and sterling silver. The 6mm sterling silver beads are sitting in between the flower petals, accenting them even more. Dear friends,
You might have wondered where I am, at this time. I have a very ill daughter . Helen my 12 year old was dignosed with a 9mm big pineal cyst which sits on the pineal glad which sits right under the brain, meaning well protected. We found this cyst through an MRI that was orderd by the gastrologist which we were refered to by the pediatrician. because all tests came back negative, he concluded that there is nothing wrong with her stomach, because at that time we only had one symptom which was nausea. Any way now diagnosed through this MRI is this cyst which is mostlikely pushing on the spinal fluid is most likely the cause for her severe nausea , headaches and weightloss that habe been increasing since begin of october. We are 80% sure that cyst is not malignant, due to its nature of having no dicolouration or patterns, it seems to be just fluid filled. This diagnosis however came from a gastrologist, who really does not have anything to with the brain. So now were are scheduled to see the Neurologist Brain Specialist on Feb 9th. Since yesterday the nausea meds which cost $20.00 is not effective anymore. We are now trying our damnest to get a sooner appointment at the Brain specialist. As so many families these days we have no health insurance, or so I applied for help from the state again and again. To no avail, the medical bills are already in the $1000s. We are not giving up and knocking on any door thats opens, we figure if we become a pest they will deal with us.

Other Vendors Are Not Your Competition

The thing I see at MOST Chat Room Party sites at other social networks and places is the ME, ME, ME Mentality.

These People do not get it that an Event is a GROUP Effort and that they are not just there to sell there items , but support other members at well. Infact, because there is not much time in a chat room for questions regarding a item one finds interest in. Most Most Chat Room like ours at http://expo-connector.com/chat.htm have PM meaning privat messaging.

It is also a fact, if other vendors do not know a business, because one they have created there own, this vendor should not expect any sales, until trust begins to develop in the chatroom. Did you know that you do not have to see a person face to face to get to know them, but that it is in the repetition of being in the Chat Room with person, that actually grows trust ?

Character traits are being submitted if you see them or not. Seeing a persons face does not make a change, it only ads to the picture. When you go to a lot of presentations like I do you become experinced in what a presentation should be all about.

Let me ask you a question....
Would you buy from someone you have never heard of ?

See there are way you can help move things along. In order for you to shine your light on your products, you need to let your light shine on you first.
When you have like 15 or twenty minutes to present, make the first 8 min just about you. Be personal in a save way, Your, first name, your age, are married, do you have children, the state you live in.......keep in mind when you new in the chat room and you have like me your own business let people in to your life, be patient be persistent in showing up.
The statistics say that because our life's are so busy, crammed full with stuff, lots of people as well as vendors have a hard time to keep paying attention. so you want to have a presentation, where they do not want to walk away from the screen. Did you know you can teach other vendors to keep paying attention to your presentation?
Just like you can teach a two year old over the course of one year to sit and listen to a bible story for 8 min. when at the beginning he was able to pay attention for two. It does not happen from today to tomorrow.

Make your presentation interesting, by never having exactly the same presentations. HINT Make yourself a presentation folder with at least 4 or 5 different presentations, unless you have a genious in the chatroom, with extreme memory recall they wont know that you are switching them around, all they hear or read is something new, something fresh. NEVER just copy and paste everything, but throw something in toally spontaneous, which makes you interact with the other vendors or guest that are in the chat room.

The BEST Online events are where the vendors are active and engaged in helping each other out. Asking questions even if they already know the answer it help the vendors feel supported.

Thefore the other Vendors are NOT your competitors but your PEERS and ALLIES, They are just like you, and if given a chance can become your BEST Resources for information. If you look at them as a competitor ONLY you miss out on Door Opening Opportunities to grow more leads and referrals. By distancing these People you cut yourself off to other information and resources they may know other places that can help you.

I am Lexi Butler, mom of three, 22, 25 and 12, married 16 years and live in Montana. I am the owner/creator of the online Boutique Beaded Jewels since 2008. As many people today, I became face to face with the devastation and destruction of cancer through my Father's Diagnosis of Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer in 2003 ( Today he is a seven Year Survivor.) As many people today I was ignorant and uninformed about the many types of cancer and causes that affect thousands of people everyday. Years past and my dad recovered rebuild his life got adjusted to the colostomy bag , but the images of my dad being in this hospital bead, his handsome stature shriveled down to an unrecognizable human being stayed with me for the years to come.

I wanted to make a difference and help inform people and spread cancer awareness nationwide through a unique way. Having the background of a certified gold smith and jewelry designer I designed the Beaded Jewels Bracelet of Hope Awareness line in Oct 2009. Each bracelet is handcrafted with love and also prayed over. The bracelets are woven with up to 28 Swarovski Crystals, same colour of tiny tube beads either Toho or Delica. Each bracelet is finished off with a sterling silver lobster clasp and a sterling silver heart shaped extenion charm with a Swarovski crystal charm at the end. The bracelets are offered in 3 sizes. Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1 : Life is not fair - get used to it!

Rule 2 : The world doesn't care about your
self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

The Legwork Behind My Home Based Biz- Beaded Jewels

I choose to be an home-based entrepreneur, because I wanted to be available to my kids when they come out of school and because I want to be in dependable and my own boss. Furthermore, I would like my business to be my children's legacy.

If you want become an entrepreneur you have to have a passion. I define passion as something that you love to do, not only in the good days, but also on the not so good days, not only from 8am to 5pm but from 6am -11pm six days a week. Your passion is what carries you and keeps you going through the rough spots.

Another two important things that is absolutely needed is patience and endurance. Patience is needed because it takes 1-3 years to get your business established and made known, and endurance you need when times get tough and they will. Especially if you do not see an income but only have expenses.

It is easy to give up your dream and your independence for a steady 8-5 job. But just remember, that your boss right now probably had the same thoughts,in the beginning state of their business, but kept going and succeeded.

What I am telling you now is what I have learned from my own experience, dedication, determination and willpower.

Once you have decided on the product or service you want to do and you are passionate about it time to let the world know. A good way to do that is to go to local craft shows, markets, bazaars, home show to
a.......get your name out
b...... your products or services
and c...your face

These three things can be very important for the growth of your home based biz.

During my many vendor shows I attended over the course of four years I was asked a
lot of times if I have a website.

Therefore I decided this would be the next step.
I had no idea how to do that. So one day end of November 2007 I searched for free down loadable website builders and downloaded the first that popped up.

Do not let that blank screen that is staring you in the face discourage you!!!
I first read all tutorials and tips and hints and started to build my website.

I worked at building my first website for several weeks. I bought my domain www.beadedjewels.biz
My business Beaded Jewels http://www.beadedjewels.biz/ was born and launched Jan 23rd 2008. I was thrilled when I got 96 visitors that month and thought for real that's all I had to do and I would soon be rich. That's how green I was!

It is always a good idea when you join your web builders forum.
There you can learn a lot of things that has to do with building a successful website.

OK Now you have build a website.

And now the real work begins.

Now you need to get visitors to come to your website.

That means you have to pave the way and mark so the people can find it.

Now before I get into detail I would like you to know that it is only from my experience that I am telling you this.

A lot of home based biz end up as a website just like mine...why

Google offers a great tools for the web site builder.

Create a links directory on your site and search out sites that are relevant to yours and contact them for link exchanges.
The means you create a little write up attracting people to
your site.

Also you got to be careful there if it sounds to them like an ad they ban it

In a network like this which is not only a social network but also a marketing network you will find the help needed to give your biz the push it needs to get known.

Last but not least......Customer testimonials. This might be a difficult task, because most of the times its hard to get the customer to respond, so make it worth while.
For example I offer my customers with a biz to put their link under their testimonials and I link back to their site. Hardly anyone one with a biz can refuse that offer.

Through Beaded Jewels ”Bracelets of Hope”
I, Lexi Butler certified jewelry designer/maker founder and owner of the online boutique Beaded Jewels have experienced the devastation of cancer, directly through my dad who was diagnosed in 2003 with stage four colorectal cancer. When I heard the devastating news from my mother over the phone, I took an emergency flight to Germany to see my father one more time or so I thought.
Nothing could prepare me of what I was about to see, once I reached my family’s home. The handsome man in statue had shriveled into this pale, bald, skinny, almost not recognizable human being a picture that would stay with me for years to come. Today, my father is a six year survivor and we thank God for each day he gets to live.
During my life in Germany, I knew my dad not only as the father figure, but as the boss of his jewelry company. As I grew, I also learned the trade of goldsmith and jewelry design, in which I decided to become certified in both. For many years, I have wanted to help and make a difference, but did not quite know how to go about it.
Last year, I met Crystal Kauffman, who is the founder of the non-profit Laugh At Cancer Organization. During our conversation, Mrs. Kauffman asked me if I would be interested in designing a bracelet line for cancer awareness called “Bracelet of Hope”. I told her I had to pray about it and immediately after speaking with God, I was flooded with visual pictures in my head of designs for the bracelets.
That was the beginning of the partnership of Beaded Jewels and Laugh At Cancer Org., which has blossomed over the last few months. Now, I offer a selection of 20 different colors and combinations which are associated with the various types of cancers. In addition, I offer ten different additional personalizing options to make the bracelet truly yours or a unique gift.
For each bracelet sold from Beaded Jewels, I will donate 10% of each bracelet. The Beaded Jewels mission is to raise national cancer awareness with the “Bracelet of Hope” line and to be a helpful partner to nonprofit Laugh At Cancer Org. Their mission is to help all families touched by cancer, whether directly or indirectly! No one deserves to fight cancer alone, so become someone wings of hope today!

What is spring and summer without dragonflies, butterflies and flowers? Thats why I incorporated all the lovely things into my new Beaded Jewels Line which I called "Spring Jewels" Collection.

Another thing you might like I kept it simple. Instead of having to fumble lockets with greasy sun creamed fingers my dragonfly chokers just snap on. If you should get sunscreen on in then you can simply take a toothbrush with dish liquid and gently clean it. As you may know I only used stainless steel wire, sterling silver wire and beads, delica glass tube beads and of course the original austrian swarovski crystal. I hope you enjoy my new colorful designs for spring and summer.
